Educated at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Bologna, Marco Lombardini started to work as a freelance illustrator in Bellaria, Italy. In 2006 and 2007 he won two awards at the italian Annual Illustratori and collaborates with important companies like Volo children`s fashion design.
Marco`s working techniques include oil paintings, acrylic, pastels and computer generated art.
The exposition shows those works which the artist realised during two trips he made in Morocco and Japan.
The idea was to catch and draw on the paper fast and instantaneous emotions, which would habe been used later to inspire more elaborated projects. In spite of these plan this series of works started to assume an autonomous value. They seem in particular to explore the nonphysical relation between colors and feelings, evocating the huge range of possibilities they can produce. Landscapes and scenes find in this exposition peacefull atmospheres, dimensions without time that exist far away from habits and monotony life can be made of.
